The holidays were not kind to our waistlines, so we are going to start eating low carbs and more of a ketogenic diet.
The basic premise is that if you cut out carbs your body will move into a state of ketosis and your body will use stored fat and gluconeogenesis to produce the glucose that is needed to support metabolic processes.
We can do this by eating a protein and low carb vegetable for each meal. This can get boring very quickly, so I picked up a copy of The Complete Ketogenic Diet for Beginners to use as a guide and help with flavor choices.
